Psychosocial Risk Senior Manager
Permanent | Melbourne | Competitive
I'm partnering with a leading financial services organisation to find a Psychosocial Risk Senior Manager, based in Melbourne. This is a senior, specialist role within a broader Wellbeing & Safety function, responsible for how psychosocial risk is identified, managed and embedded across a large, complex workforce.
You'll provide expert advice on complex psychosocial risk and mental health matters, shape and deliver targeted interventions, and help the organisation build genuine, sustainable practice in this space, not just compliance.
What you'll be doing
- Provide technical and specialist advice on complex psychosocial risk and workplace mental health matters
- Design and deliver interventions to manage psychosocial risk, including leadership workshops, action planning and targeted support for business areas
- Lead and deliver projects that improve how psychosocial risk is managed across the organisation
- Influence senior stakeholders to ensure risk decisions meet legislative requirements and reflect industry best practice
- Support the integration of psychosocial risk management within the broader WHS management system and business processes
- Coach and upskill colleagues across the Wellbeing & Safety function, including more junior team members
- Use data and insights to inform proactive, tailored interventions for emerging and existing risks
- Manage relationships with external wellbeing and EAP providers
What you'll bring
- Substantial experience managing psychosocial risk and workplace mental health within large, complex organisations, ideally financial services or another regulated industry
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health & Safety, Human Factors or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of the legislative and regulatory landscape around psychosocial risk
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
- A strategic mindset paired with the ability to translate that strategy into practical, on the ground solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Why you'll love it here
- Genuine seniority and mandate to shape how a major organisation manages psychosocial risk
- Work at the heart of a well-resourced Wellbeing & Safety function
- Partner directly with senior leaders across the business
- Based in Melbourne
