M&A Specialist (multiple positions)

I'm recruiting for several M&A Specialist roles with a business that partners closely with HR teams and the wider organisation to deliver workforce transformation. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role, owning the day-to-day execution of large, complex workforce transformation initiatives — think new operating models, organisation design and restructures, location or offshoring strategy, the people side of M&A, workforce analytics and broader workforce programs.

What you'll be doing

• Owning end-to-end delivery across operating model design, organisation design, workforce transformation, restructuring, data and implementation
• Bringing strategic advice and subject matter expertise to senior leaders, HR business partners and project stakeholders
• Running organisational diagnostics to surface risks and opportunities
• Turning analysis into evidence-based recommendations that balance commercial, customer, workforce and design outcomes
• Leading project teams and cross-functional contributors to keep delivery momentum
• Supporting governance — critical path, risk and issue management, dependencies, reporting, budget, resourcing and scope
• Tracking progress against milestones, financial impact and benefits realisation
• Translating design recommendations into practical, embedded implementation plans
• Guiding leaders and stakeholders through the people impacts of change, keeping it compliant and human

What you'll bring

• Deep experience in at least one of: org design, operating model, restructuring, the people side of M&A, workforce transformation, strategy or people data
• A track record leading complex transformation from mobilisation through to implementation
• Confidence engaging and challenging senior stakeholders
• Strong program and project management — governance, critical path, dependencies, risk, budget and scope
• Consulting-grade problem-solving and facilitation, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguity
• Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable at executive level
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
